Road to Osaka — Saxophone Workshop Brings Real Competition Preparation to Muse [X]

What does it really take to move from “being able to play” to being ready for the stage?

On September 13, 2026, Muse [X] Academy welcomed saxophone players and music enthusiasts to Road to Osaka — Saxophone Workshop, a special event designed around real preparation for an international competition stage.

Rather than focusing only on technique, the workshop opened a window into the complete process behind performance preparation — from solving playing challenges and refining musical details to developing ensemble communication, teamwork, and stage readiness.

Participants had the opportunity to learn directly from musicians preparing for competition in Osaka, Japan, gaining insight into the realities of rehearsal, preparation, pressure, and collaboration.

The program included Workshop + Masterclass sessions covering saxophone technique, common performance challenges, competition preparation, and ensemble playing, followed by Road to Osaka, a behind-the-scenes conversation about the rehearsal process and the journey toward an international stage.

The day concluded with a Live Concert by Siam Mint Saxophone Quartet & Guests, allowing participants to experience the ideas discussed throughout the workshop brought to life in performance.
