Master Wiris "Mac" Viswanichkul is a jazz bassist and performing musician with extensive experience across jazz clubs, festivals, competitions, and live artist support. A graduate of Silpakorn University in Jazz Music with bass as his principal instrument, he brings more than a decade of real-world performance experience into his teaching.

Biography
Master Wiris Viswanichkul is a jazz bassist whose musical experience spans jazz performance, ensemble playing, festivals, competitions, artist support, and studio recording.
He graduated from Silpakorn University, majoring in Jazz Music with bass as his principal instrument. His performing career has developed through years of playing in Bangkok’s jazz scene, including a long-standing engagement at Jazz Happens from 2010 until the venue’s closure in 2020.
His early achievements include winning the Silpakorn Music Award (SMA) in 2010. He subsequently performed at major events including Samet in Love Music Festival 2011, Silpakorn on Tour 2014, and multiple editions of the Thailand International Jazz Conference (TIJC).
Master Wiris appeared at TIJC in 2015 with Sahamitr Big Band Jazz, returned in 2017 with Crazy Race, and performed again in 2024 as part of Aurevoir. With Crazy Race, he also reached the final 20 bands selected nationwide in the GMM Audition.
His performance experience further includes the Cat Radio Bedroom Music Festival with Binla Jazz, as well as a continuing residency at Buddha & Pals beginning in 2019.
Beyond jazz ensembles, Master Wiris has worked as a supporting musician for recording and performing artists including Johnifer from The Voice Thailand Season 3 and Boyjozz. His studio recording credits include “ดาวเหนือ” (Acoustic) by Laika and “Cold Fire” by Tensumeth.
