Thanyawarin "Onn" Chorchuhirun

Thanyawarin "Onn" Chorchuhirun is a Thai violinist and educator whose work combines active orchestral performance, advanced violin study, and dedicated teaching. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Violin Performance and Pedagogy at Mahidol University under the guidance of Dr. Mahakit Lerdcheewanan. This academic path gives her a strong foundation not only in violin performance, but also in how young musicians learn, develop technique, and grow artistically over time. As a performer, Onn plays with the Bangkok Metropolitan Orchestra and the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra. She previously held leadership roles with Siam Sinfonietta and the Mahidol Symphony Orchestra, giving her experience in ensemble leadership, orchestral discipline, rehearsal preparation, and stage communication. Alongside her performing career, Onn is a dedicated violin teacher committed to helping young musicians build solid technical foundations, musical expression, confidence, and artistry. At Muse [X], Onn brings a strong balance of performance and pedagogy to the Strings department. Her teaching supports violin students in developing disciplined technique, sensitive musicality, orchestral awareness, and long-term growth as young artists.
