Napat “Jee” Phuntusuntorn

Napat “Jee” Phuntusuntorn is a Thai violist, violin instructor, music educator, and violin/viola setup technician with a strong background in both performance and music education. A graduate of Chulalongkorn University’s Music Education program, he combines classical string training with practical teaching experience and hands-on knowledge of instrument care and setup. As a performer, Master Jee has performed with a wide range of ensembles, including the Thai Youth Orchestra, CU Symphony Orchestra, Siam Sinfonietta, Sunrise String Orchestra, Viola Lovers, and Penang Philharmonic. His ensemble experience reflects a broad musical foundation across youth orchestra training, university-level performance, chamber and string ensemble work, and regional orchestral collaboration. Alongside his performing career, Master Jee is an active educator and string specialist. He currently teaches at Horwang School and is the owner of Maison De La Musique, where his work connects music instruction with violin and viola setup support. His combined experience as a performer, teacher, and setup technician allows him to guide students not only in musicianship and technique, but also in understanding the instrument itself.
