Dr. Indhuon Srikaranonda is one of Thailand’s most accomplished classical pianists and piano teachers of her generation. With training from Interlochen Arts Academy, Oberlin Conservatory, and Yale University, she has shaped many generations of Thai pianists through world-class artistry and mentorship.

Biography

Dr. Indhuon Srikaranonda is an acclaimed classical pianist and educator whose career bridges American, European, and Asian musical traditions. She received her musical education in the United States at Interlochen Arts Academy, Oberlin Conservatory, and Yale University, where she earned both her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees. As a performer, Dr. Indhuon has appeared as a soloist with orchestra, recitalist, and chamber musician in major festivals and concerts across Europe, Asia, America, and New Zealand. Alongside her husband, Lithuanian pianist Artas Balakauskas, she has mentored generations of young Thai classical pianists, many of whom have won prizes in Thailand and abroad and gone on to become respected performers and teachers.
