Biography

Benyapa Phar aksa is a vocal artist and vocal coach based in Bangkok, Thailand. She holds a Master’s degree in Musicology and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice Performance. Her academic background shapes a structured yet flexible approach to vocal pedagogy, where classical technique is adapted to support the demands of contemporary performance. She has worked with emerging and professional artists across the entertainment industry, collaborating with major music platforms including GMM Grammy’s Project Alpha, YAPP Music Label’s Galchanie, Nadou Bangkok, and the 789 Audition project from 2021 to the present. Her work includes both private and group instruction, with a focus on preparing singers for recording sessions, live performances, auditions, and televised productions. Her teaching is grounded in the belief that vocal technique should not exist separately from the artist. Rather than training voices in isolation, she begins by listening to each singer’s natural sound, helping them recognize their individual vocal identity, refine it with clarity and control, and develop the ability to make intentional artistic choices. Through this approach, she helps singers build not only reliable vocal function, but also a voice that communicates with presence, specificity, and authenticity. Benyapa’s performance experience spans opera, musical theatre, symphonic concerts, and contemporary entertainment. Her operatic repertoire includes Pierrot Lunaire, scenes from Tosca Act II & IV, and The Merry Widow. In musical theatre, she performed the leading role in Peter Pan and appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar and other ensemble productions. Her additional performance experience includes Cocktail Classics: A Symphony Orchestra Concert and involvement in The X Factor Thailand, reflecting her versatility across both classical and contemporary performance environments.
