Associate Professor Dr. Pathorn Srikaranonda is an internationally acclaimed saxophonist, composer, and jazz artist who has performed in more than 30 countries. A former royal court musician and long-standing member of King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Au-Sau Friday Band, he brings deep jazz heritage, global performance experience, and artistic leadership to Muse [X].

Biography
Associate Professor Dr. Pathorn Srikaranonda is one of Thailand’s most distinguished saxophonists, composers, and jazz artists, with an international career spanning concert halls, jazz clubs, festivals, royal performances, and cultural events across more than 30 countries.
He was a royal court musician to His late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and a long-standing member of the Au-Sau Friday Band for over three decades. His career includes collaborations with leading international ensembles and artists, including l’Orchestre National de Lille, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band in New Orleans, the Dutch Swing College Band, Biggles Big Band Amsterdam, and Joe Lastie’s New Orleans Sound.
Dr. Pathorn holds degrees from the University of Michigan, Yale University, and the University of Edinburgh. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Music at Kasetsart University and President of the Saxophone Association Thailand. As a Henri Selmer Paris jazz artist and Légère Reeds endorsing artist, he continues to perform internationally while mentoring the next generation of jazz musicians through a performance-first, bandstand-led approach.
